For in-person visits, appointments are not necessary; we welcome walk-ins to accommodate your urgent care needs.
Our Immediate Care centers are equipped to treat patients aged 6 months and older for a variety of conditions, including:
- Common ailments such as colds, influenza, and infections of the respiratory and sinus tracts.
- Minor trauma, encompassing lacerations, animal bites, burns of varying degrees, and sprains.
- Infections of the urinary tract and sexually transmitted diseases.
- Skin conditions like irritations and rashes.

For those who prefer a face-to-face medical evaluation, our Immediate Care Centers offer in-person consultations with physicians and advanced practice providers. Simply walk into any of our locations to receive the medical attention you require.
Virtual Emergent Care Visits
Virtual visits offer a convenient alternative, allowing you to consult with a Northwestern Medicine Immediate Care physician or advanced practice provider from the comfort of your own home.
- Virtual visits are available for individuals aged 5 years and older.
- It may be possible to schedule a virtual appointment, particularly useful when our Immediate Care Centers are closed.
- Please note that patients must be physically located within Illinois during the virtual consultation.
Vaccination Availability
- COVID-19 Vaccinations: For detailed information on where to receive your COVID-19 vaccine, please visit our dedicated COVID-19 vaccination page.
- Influenza (Flu) Vaccinations: During the flu season, we provide flu vaccines at Northwestern Medicine Immediate Care Centers for individuals aged 3 years and older, available Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 11 am to 2 pm. - Adacel/Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis) Vaccinations: These vaccinations can be ordered by an Immediate Care Center physician or advanced practice provider during your visit, as deemed necessary.
