As a Customer Service Associate in our Melville, NY Call Center, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. This fast-paced, high-volume environment requires individuals who thrive under pressure and are dedicated to providing exceptional pseg customer care. Your primary responsibility will be to answer inbound calls, addressing a wide range of customer needs with courtesy and professionalism. From setting up new services to explaining billing inquiries and processing payments, your goal will be first call resolution, ensuring customer satisfaction with every interaction.

In this role, you will utilize web-based computer tools to navigate customer accounts, analyze billing, and process payments. This requires strong multitasking abilities and a knack for problem-solving. You will be empowered to make financial decisions, adjust customer accounts, and even set up payment agreements, always with an eye towards protecting company revenues while maintaining excellent customer relations.
