“We’ve learned from our parents that you can never compromise on service and quality,” Hannah explains, “so we’re always exploring how to make the Super Duck experience truly exceptional for every vehicle that comes through.”

Hannah and Patricia value their parents’ guidance, recognizing their extensive experience. Their father entered the car wash industry 30 years ago, though they laughingly recall his first venture was quite different from Super Duck. “It was just a 50-foot tunnel with four blowers attached to a gas station,” they share. “It was more of an added service.”
About 15 years later, their mother transitioned into commercial real estate, eventually selling car wash businesses. This path led her to specialize exclusively in car wash sales for the next decade, becoming a leading name in the industry. “The car wash industry is very male-dominated,” Patricia notes, “but she built her client base one relationship at a time and ultimately sold for the biggest names in car washing.”
Patricia and Hannah’s family launched their first joint car wash venture in Montgomery, Alabama, in 2015. Hannah had recently completed her undergraduate degree, and Patricia was nearing graduation. Together, they worked to create their dream car wash business, expanding to eight locations, with Madison being their eighth and Hazel Green their ninth.

When asked about their decision to open a location in Madison, Patricia and Hannah smile, explaining it was a long-term goal. “We’d watched Madison grow and evolve for years, and we were confident we could contribute value to the community with our services.”
Interestingly, not all of their car washes in the Southeast region are named Super Duck. Initially, the Madison location was intended to have a dinosaur theme, similar to one of their Georgia locations. However, the dinosaur concept didn’t quite align with the aesthetic and history of the Clift Farm area. The sisters reconsidered, aiming to honor the existing character of Clift Farm.
“We explored a farm theme, and then one day, at Verizon setting up my cell phone account, the employee mentioned ducks at a nearby hardware store! Then they got baby chicks, and I knew instantly – that was it!” Patricia recounts with a smile. “A duck theme felt perfect, especially with the ponds surrounding our location.”
