Installing Your Car Seat Covers with Hooks: A Visual Guide
Step 1: Prepare the Front Seats
Begin by removing the headrests from both the front and rear seats. This initial step is crucial for a smooth and proper car seat cover installation.
Step 2: Install the Front Seat Covers
Place the front seat covers over the seats. Connect the elastics underneath the seats using the provided hooks to secure the base of the covers.
Step 3: Fit the Front Seat Backrests
Position the front seat backrest covers, ensuring that the AIRBAG symbols are facing outwards for safety. Adjust the elastics at the bottom of the seat back covers and use the metal hooks to achieve a snug and secure fit.
Step 4: Install the Rear Bench Seat Cover
Install the rear bench seat cover. Adjust it to fit whether you have a full or split bench seat configuration, ensuring complete coverage and a tailored look.
To properly secure the rear bench seat cover, lift the rear bench seat with a bit of force. Then, adjust the elastics underneath using the metal hooks as shown in figure 5, ensuring a tight and wrinkle-free fit.
Step 5: Attach the Rear Seat Backrest Cover
Attach the rear seat backrest cover. If your car has split seats, utilize the zippers on the cover to accommodate this feature, maintaining the functionality of your split seats.
Adjust the elastics on the back of the backrest cover and secure them using the metal hooks, as illustrated in figure 7, to ensure the backrest cover is firmly in place.
Step 6: Place the Headrest Covers
Place the covers over all five headrests, ensuring a snug and smooth fit as shown in figure 8 of the original guide.
Step 7: Final Adjustments and Headrest Installation
Using sharp-tipped scissors, carefully make the necessary small holes in the covers to re-attach the headrests. Before making any cuts, double-check that all the backrest covers are straight and perfectly positioned to ensure a professional finish.
