Emergency Departments for Critical Care
For severe or life-threatening medical emergencies, Northshore University HealthSystem operates full-service Emergency Departments. Staffed by board-certified emergency medicine specialists, our ERs are equipped to handle critical situations, including cardiac emergencies with on-site cardiac catheterization labs. Each Emergency Department also includes dedicated Fast Track areas for treating minor injuries efficiently.
