Welcoming New Patients
If you are a new patient, please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to complete the necessary paperwork. Kindly bring the following items to your first visit:
- Photo ID
- Insurance cards
- A list of current prescriptions and over-the-counter medications
- Any relevant outside medical records
Please note that a parent or legal guardian must be present for all patient appointments.
Meet Our Dedicated Doctors
The physicians at our Primary Care Clinic are resident doctors, who are licensed physicians undergoing advanced training in pediatrics. They are directly supervised by board-certified attending pediatricians, ensuring expert care for your child. We strive for continuity of care by assigning each child their own doctor, and we encourage families to schedule follow-up appointments with the same physician. Our resident doctors also provide care for newborns at the UAB Women and Infants Center. While resident doctors rotate after completing their training, our commitment to your child’s health remains constant, and another skilled physician will continue their care. We are privileged to serve as your child’s medical home, dedicated to providing exceptional care and training the next generation of pediatricians.
