Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice was reportedly driving at a staggering 119 mph just seconds before triggering a six-vehicle collision on a Dallas highway last month. This startling detail comes from an arrest warrant affidavit obtained by the Dallas Morning News on Friday, shedding new light on the Rashee Rice Car Accident.
According to the affidavit, Rice’s Lamborghini Urus reached this extreme speed a mere 4.5 seconds before the impact. Simultaneously, a Corvette driven by SMU wide receiver Teddy Knox, was also traveling at a high velocity, clocking in at 116 mph 7.5 seconds prior to the chain-reaction crash. Knox’s vehicle did decelerate to 91 mph 1.5 seconds before the accident, but the initial high speed and aggressive driving contributed significantly to the incident.
The multi-vehicle pile-up occurred on the North Central Expressway (U.S. Route 75) and resulted in injuries to at least seven individuals.
