Rates from other rental car companies, including Avis, National, Enterprise, Alamo, Sixt, Dollar, and Payless, are not eligible for comparison under this guarantee. We believe in the value of our own service and direct offerings.
- Discounted and Special Rates: To maintain fairness, rates obtained through specific discounts, coupons, upgrade offers, or pre-negotiated deals (like group, government, corporate, tour, or insurance replacement rentals) are excluded. These are already special offers and are treated separately.
- Package Deals: Car rentals bundled as part of package deals, such as airfare + hotel + car rental combinations, are not included. These package rates are often opaque and don’t allow for direct price comparison of the car rental component.
- Opaque and Membership Sites: Rates from auction or wholesale websites that hide the rental car company name until after purchase, or those from websites requiring membership logins to view rates, are also not eligible. We believe in transparent and readily available pricing.

Renters must meet Budget’s age, driver, and credit requirements, with minimum age varying by location and potential surcharges for renters under 25.
